If you have more than one DC, please run the cmdlet with different DC to test. The old domain does have an Exchange 2003 server with mailboxes that we plan to migrate to the 2007 server in the next few days. It will not be until another week or so before I am ready for the move but I will definetively try the move mailbox instead of the ExMerge. I guess you have already update the address lists and email address policy if you migrated from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007.
