In fact, Windows 7 is not compatible with the video cards of many laptops. If I bought a $400 Vista/7 machine, would the performance be back to what I'm getting with Win98??? Vista/7 seem to be trying to be OS's with everything built it, not what I like. Sadly we lost the ability to use decent browsers. It does not fix the problem. I didnt change any hardwares, just installed windows7 and all the updates with it.
